Common offenses occurring on federal property prosecuted in Federal Court include Driving Under the Influence, (DUI), Operating Under the Influence (OUI), Trespassing, Possession of Drugs / Controlled Substances, Paraphernalia, and Possession of Firearms. In the Kansas City Missouri Metro Area these offenses commonly occur on Federal property, examples include the Veterans Administration Hospital, Native American Tribal Property, The Kansas City International Airport (MCI), military bases, and any other federal property. This Court hears cases from jurisdictions in Western Missouri.

Failure to place your gun with your checked baggage per federal law can result in that firearm being discovered at a TSA security checkpoint at KCI and may result in a State or Federal Charge.
