The Kansas City Missouri Municipal Court is a division of the 16th Judicial Circuit and is the largest Municipal Court in the State of Missouri. It is located at 1101 Locust St., Kansas City, Mo., 64106. Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Court is located 1 block northeast of the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The Court employs several full-time Judges, an experienced and seasoned staff of Prosecutors, and almost 100 employees. There are nine courtrooms which are listed alphabetically ( A Court, B Court, etc.).

Kansas City Municipal Court handles Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs (DUI), Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia cases, DUI Checkpoint cases, Disturbing the Peace, Assault, Solicitation and Patronizing of Prostitution, Careless and Imprudent Driving charges , Speeding Tickets and other City Code Violations. There is no right to a Jury Trial in Kansas City Municipal Court, any appeals are made de novo to Jackson County Circuit Court. The Court is open from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. , Monday through Friday.

Can I Still Drive After a DUI Arrest in Kansas City, Missouri?

The request must be made within fifteen days of service of this form if a test failure ( B.A.C. of .08 or greater ) was recorded; a Petition for Review must be filed within 30 days if law enforcement says you refused to cooperate and submit a sample.

How to Request a Drivers License Hearing in Kansas City

If you are stopped for DUI in Kansas City Missouri and consent to a breath test and register a .08 or above the Missouri Department of Revenue can suspend your Missouri Driving Privileges for 30 days on a first occurrence. This may not immediately affect your out-of-state Driver License.
