In an overnight DUI checkpoint at 40 th and Main, Kansas City Police arrested 15 people for DUI violations. These arrests add to the 12 made in late May on 152 Highway and N. Green Hills Road at a previous DUI checkpoint. According to the KCPD, they stopped 756 vehicles during the five-hour checkpoint. Over the Memorial Day Holiday almost forty arrests were made in Missouri for Boating While Intoxicated, or BWI. The majority of arrests were made at The Lake of the Ozarks.
