#1: What made you choose a career in DUI defense?
When I was in law school, I participated in the Law Clinic, where I was able to represent clients in court under the direction of the Head of the Department, the excellent Professor Michael Kaye, Esq. I decided that I wanted to represent people, not corporations
#2: In your opinion, what sets your firm apart from other firms in the area?
My law firm is 100% Criminal Defense, with 21 years of experience, in both Kansas and Missouri.
#3: Tell us about a case that you are particularly proud of:
I had a DUI trial recently in Kansas. My Client has to travel frequently / internationally as part of his job and was in danger of losing that job if convicted. He was found not guilty at trial.
#4: What steps do you take to prepare for a difficult case?
We request all reports, video, audio recordings. I also request the Intoxilyzer Certification for the machine used, as well as the Officer's Certification.
#5: How do you view your role in the attorney-client relationship?
My role is to achieve the best result for the Client. Period.
#6: What sets you apart from other DUI attorneys – why is this important?
When you call my office, you are going to talk to me, not a junior associate or secretary. If I am in Court I return calls the same day.
#7: How does having experience benefit your clients?
I have been practicing Criminal Defense Law 100% for 21 years.
#8: What types of cases do you specifically handle?
I handle DUI DWI BWI Drug Possession Assault Felony Cases, basically, if you have a Court Date, I handle it.
#9: In your opinion, what is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Achieving a great outcome for the Client.
#10: What advice do you most often give your clients & why?
Stay Positive, take a breath, we are going to take care of your case.
